If you are looking for a great base from which to explore Sequoia National Park look no further. Tom and Chris provide friendlyness and comfort (and even a pair of swimming shorts)!! 6/25/01 Dear Chris How could we forget the wonderful time we spent at your hotel you made us feel very welcome. I hope that we are able to return one day to California and see you again. From Sequioa we went on to Johannesburg (A one horse town - but the horse died. Actually a ghost town with nothing functioning save the post office), then on to LA which is a very special place. Thereafter, Grand Canyon... Santa Fe.. Chicago and back to New York City. As for the Sequioa National Park - what a special place - a special memory for me is the redwood forest with its smell! We'll be back!
